The Beijing International Marathon, run by over 25,000 runners is one of the biggest social sport events to be held in Beijing. With the Olympics coming up, the site needed to have some sense of being alive, and to take on the branding and style currently existing on billboards and magazines around Beijing.

It is a functioning e-Commerce site with emphasis on the participants. The administration back-end was modified to account for the extra registration fields, as well as the differing prices between foreign and local participants. Translated into 3 languages (Chinese, Japanese & English), it allowed the extension of existing modules and components tailored made for Online Event Registration & Management.
